Worked as part of a team of researchers, investigating various aspects of wildlife conservation efforts in Ghana, West Africa
- Studied foraging habits and diet of Black and White Colobine Monkeys
- Interviewed fisher folk through local translators
- Gathered information on the impact of artisanal fisheries on sea turtle populations
- Conducted a mark-recapture study with the Hinge Back Tortoise
- Worked closely with the Ghana Wildlife Department

FGCU Library Student Utilization Study, Internship 2008 to 2011
Leading ongoing anthropological study of college student usage and perceptions of the on-campus library with goals of better equipping the library staff to meet student needs

Big Cypress Archeological Field School, Field Hand Summer 2009
Participated in an archeological excavation on the Big Cypress Seminole Reservation, excavating a Fort Shackelford, a US military fort used between the second and third Seminole Wars.
- Learned archaeological field methods
- Learned artifact documentation and conservation methods
- Worked closely with the Tribal Historic Preservation Office and Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Seminole Museum
- Established ties by living with the tribe for twenty days
Project Greenscape, Student Research Assistant Fall 2008 to Summer 2010
Constructed a project proposal to conduct a study of Naples landscapers with a specific focus on the link between lawn fertilization practices and non-point pollution of local estuaries, and conducted first stages of research
- Collaborated with Rookery Bay Environmental Canter staff
- Developed project proposal to measure Best Landscape Management Practices
- Drafted and presented literature review of the American perception of Lawn Care and Landscaping (Here)
